Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your “Ask Master” account and its data. You do not need to sign in to read it.

In the app (iOS and Android)

Open the app and sign in.
Tap the account icon at the top of the home screen.
Choose Delete account and confirm.

On the website

Open askmaster.help and sign in.
Click Delete account in the footer and confirm.

If you cannot sign in

Email us from the address linked to your account (or tell us which sign-in method you used: Google, Apple, or username) with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify that the account is yours and delete it, normally within 14 days.

What is deleted

Your account, sign-in identifiers, name and email.
All your conversations and the Grand master's answers.
Your credit balance. Unused credits are forfeited and cannot be refunded after deletion.
If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke the Sign in with Apple link.

What is kept

Records of completed payments are kept without any personal data (no text, no name, no email) for accounting and legal reasons. A one-way hash of your sign-in identifier is kept so that the welcome credits cannot be claimed again by re-creating an account; it cannot be turned back into your identity. Deletion cannot be undone.
